Shopping haul!

I’m BACK everyone! (after over a month… again… I need to stop…)

Yesterday, I went shopping with my mum, and I thought since I haven’t blogged in ages I’d do a bit of a haul. I don’t know about you, but I really like shopping haul-type posts/videos, because I’m a nosy person who likes to know what people buy 😛

I went to various shops, so there’s a slight variety of things featured in this post. So, if you’re curious as to what sort of things I buy, you maaaay just want to carry on reading 😉

(warning: this is quite an image-heavy post!)

Everything I bought (minus socks because I forgot)

Primark

First from Primark, I bought this handbag for £12.00. I looooove the embroidered design and also like how it has two different strap options – handheld, or a longer, detachable strap that can go across the body. I’ve been needing a new handbag for quite a while, and this one is a decent size especially for £12!

Next is this navy and white striped top which I ADORE because it’s got Flounder from The Little Mermaid on it! I love Disney (who’d have guessed?) and Flounder is just soooo cute, so I just had to buy it when I saw it. It’s pretty summery as it’s cropped with a tied front, so I think it’ll look nice with high-waisted jeans or shorts. This top was £6.00 🙂

Also from Primark, I bought this Fantastic Beasts pajama top for £6.00. I got a larger size so it will be nice and comfy but also quite cool in warmer weather (like we’ve had here over the past few days). The nifflers on the front are so adorable and I loved Fantastic Beasts when I saw it, so I couldn’t resist this.

socks 2 50 edit.pngFinally, I got this pack of socks for £2.50 seeing as I needed some shorter socks. I chose pretty neutral colours so that they’ll go with just about anything, and you can’t really go wrong with 7 pairs of socks for less than £3!

Dorothy Perkins

shorts 6 40 originally 8 00 edit.pngFrom Dorothy Perkins, I bought this pair of shorts for £6.40 (down from £8.00). Since it’s getting slightly warmer now, I thought something like this would be useful to have to wear when I’m not doing too much and want to be comfy. They’re not excessively short and felt really nice when I tried them on, so I’m quite happy! Plus, they were 20% off!

The Body Shop

P1040216 edit.pngI love The Body Shop, so when I saw they had an offer of 3 for £20 on body care I naturally had to buy something! I’ve been needing a new body butter for a while now since mine ran out, so I picked up the pinita colada scented one, which smells very sweet and summery. I also bought a coconut body scrub, which is a ~custom~ one because they had the option to do that and I thought that was pretty cool! The lady in the shop actually tested out a harsher scrub on my hand which made it super smooth, however I chose to go for a sliiightly less harsh one in the end in order to not irritate my skin too much. To get the 3 for £20 offer, my mum got a shower gel (not pictured), which also smells GORGEOUS!

Boots

P1040220 edit.pngAt Boots, I picked up the ‘stay matte but not flat’ foundation by NYX for £6.00. I’ve nearly run out of the L’Oréal matte foundation I’ve been using for ages, and since the colour is just slightly too dark and pink for me I thought I’d try a different foundation after it runs out. Since I’ve heard some good things about this foundation, I swatched a few shades and found that Alabaster was pretty much perfect as it’s quite neutral-toned. Hopefully the formula will also work for me and my awkward skin!

And that’s what I bought this time! I’d say it was a pretty successful shopping trip, and I picked up quite a few things I’ve been needing/wanting for a while now! I hope you enjoyed this post; let me know if you did, and if you like any of the things I bought too because I’d love to hear!

  1. Aah these are all so cute! The Fantastic Beasts and Flounder tops are SUPER CUTE. Also the handbag. Actually, EVERYTHING IS SO NICE. I hope the foundation works for you! My foundation at the moment (though I don’t use it much) is sort of making my skin have a reaction which isn’t very good so I’m vaguely on the lookout for another haha.
