A Relaxing Playlist

Hey!

So, I jumped on the bandwagon and today I have a little (well, kind of) playlist for you all! this is partly inspired by all the bloggers who have made their own playlists (including An Overthinking Teen, whose playlist got a tweet from the author of the book it was based on because she’s just so fabulous), discussions with a friend, and just me listening to my music and thinking, ‘Hey, this song is quite relaxing and nice’, which leads on to my next point:

Since it’s exam season – I have two weeks of exams starting tomorrow, HALP – this playlist is a collection of songs I find relaxing, and a couple of others that kind of fit the theme, but not too much and that I just really like at the moment.

So anyway, here’s my playlist!

(Note: these songs are in no particular order!)

You can listen to this playlist on Spotify here.

Mad Sounds – Arctic Monkeys – I was listening to this the other day whilst with my friend, and OH MY GOSH IT IS SO RELAXING. Unlike some of Arctic Monkeys’ songs, there isn’t too much ~intense guitar~, which makes it sound pretty chilled out!

No. 1 Party Anthem – Arctic Monkeys – Similarly to Mad Sounds, this song is really chilled out and nice to listen to!

If I Believe You – The 1975 – I think most songs on The 1975’s newest album (ILIWYSFYASBYSUOI) are quite chilled out, but I’ve only chosen two  for this playlist – If I Believe You being one. I also have an odd liking for most songs which you can do a waltz of some sort to, seeing as it’s one of my favourite dances!

Paris – The 1975 – Again off their new album, the same goes as before. Except this time it doesn’t have a waltz rythm.

I Won’t Give Up – Jason Mraz – I have loved this song for SO LONG, and it’s so sweet and lovely and just… omg. It’s also got a waltz rhythm, so yeah, hehe

BITE – Troye Sivan – I find the beginning of this song so nice to listen to (as well as the rest, of course) because you can really hear Troye pronouncing the words.

TALK ME DOWN – Troye Sivan – Basically I love Troye Sivan’s voice.

Weathered – Jack Garratt – I actually really like this song, and find it quite relaxing to listen to!

Implicit Demand For Proof – Twenty One Pilots – I could hardly not Include something by Twenty One Pilots, could I?! This isn’t exactly the most relaxing of songs, but I do like it!

Taxi Cab – Twenty One Pilots – This song could be quite motivational as well as relatively chilled out!

Eyes Shut – Years & Years – I’m not always a fan of Years & Years’ music but I do like this song!!

Can’t Help Falling In Love – Twenty One Pilots cover – First of all, this is actually the cutest thing. Tyler Joseph playing the ukulele is the best! Plus, I can play it on my own ukulele!

Ocean – Lauren Aquilina – Lauren Aquilina’s voice is just gorgeous (thanks to AOT for introducing me to her!), and I lovelovelove all her songs! Ocean is one that I particularly like!

Drive – Oh Wonder – Oh Wonder’s music is so lovely to listen to, so if you haven’t listenend to them before, you definitely should! Drive is one of my favourites, and was the first song of theirs that I heard!

Stressed Out – Twenty One Pilots – Well would you look who it is again?! Despite the name of this song, I actually find it quite relaxing to listen to! It’s also super relatable at the moment because ARGH EXAMS

Move Together – James Bay – I LOVE this song!! (Another waltz one again lol)

Photograph – Ed Sheeran – THIS. SONG. THOUGH. It is so sweet!!!!

Car Radio – Twenty One Pilots – Okay, I promise this is the last Twenty One Pilots song now! Despite the subject matter of the song, the constant stream of words is so nice to hear! My friend and I discussed this, so thank you, smol lik! (lol)

Kicks – Lauren Aquilina – I actually can’t stop listening to this song because OMG IT IS SO GOOD OMG I LOVE IT AHHH

Chasing Cars – Snow Patrol – This is one of my mum’s all-time favourite songs, and I love it too!!!

Clean – Taylor Swift – I just love this song so much! (Note: The Ryan Adams version is on the playlist, seeing as Taylor Swift’s version isn’t on Spotify)

Lego House – Ed Sheeran – I have loved this song since I first heard it, and it is so lovely!!

So, that’s my playlist! Again, you can listen to this playlist on Spotify here. I have added more songs since I first made this post and there are now over 50! 😀

What do you think of my choices, and do you have any suggestions for songs that are great to listen to if you want to relax? Or just any song recommendations? Let me know in the comments and I might just check them out!

Byeeeeee!

      1. Yep! I made a goal at the start of this year to talk to new bloggers more often and it worked for maybe the first 2 months of the year, then I just started getting overloaded with other “responsibilities” and it just faded away whoops
THEY ARE 😀 Are you going to any of the Emotional Roadshow dates for top??

Sadly I can’t go to any of the Emotional Roadshow shows, seeing as I’m in the UK, but I would love to go and see them live someday!
